John Mulcahy, MDVislink Technologies John joined Link Research in June 2004, managing R&D, production and sub-contract manufacturing. He was appointed General Manager in May 2005 and Managing Director in January 2007.
Between 1999 and 2004 John was Technical Director of TAG McLaren Audio, a company that designed and manufactured high end home cinema equipment. Before transferring to the audio company John was Technical Director of TAG Electronic Systems, another TAG McLaren Group company, which designs and manufactures engine, drive-train and telemetry systems for Formula 1 and other motor racing categories. John was at TAG Electronic Systems from 1990 to 1999, managing motorsport electronics programmes for McLaren, Honda, Peugeot, Alfa Romeo and Cagiva. Prior to joining TAG McLaren John was a Systems Engineer at the GEC Avionics Technology and Systems Research Laboratory, working there from 1985 to 1990. John is a Chartered Engineer, a Member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology and has a B.E. (elec) from University College Cork.
