Watford, UK, Vislink Group has announced that it is creating a News and Entertainment business unit to develop innovative Secure Communications solutions for broadcasters worldwide. Vislink News and Entertainment brings together Vislink’s three established broadcast businesses of Advent Communications, Link Research and Microwave Radio Communications. All three companies are prominent suppliers to the Broadcast sector with strong brands, established international distribution and longstanding customers.
Vislink News and Entertainment will continue to support and develop the product portfolios of all three companies: including Advent’s satellite communications solutions, Link’s radio frequency and wireless camera systems, and Microwave Radio Communications’ electronic news gathering and microwave solutions.
Ben McLeod, formerly Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at Massachusetts based Microwave Radio Communications, has been appointed to the new role of Managing Director of Vislink News and Entertainment.

John Mulcahy has been appointed to the new role of Managing Director for Vislink Technologies, responsible for the group’s forward technology strategy and Research & Development teams in Europe and North America. Stephen Rudd has been appointed Group Director of Internal Sales Development.
